Accounted

Use cases

Track your stock and ETF portfolio without a brokerage login

Link a stock or ETF to its ticker, enter how many shares you hold, and Accounted prices it, so your portfolio sits on the same balance sheet as your cash, home and loans.

What's priced for you

Stocks and ETFs listed on Nasdaq, NYSE, NYSE Arca, NYSE American and Cboe, plus stocks on 45+ other exchanges, as well as crypto, gold, silver, platinum and palladium. Search by ticker or name, then enter your share count.

Mutual funds, 401(k)s, IRAs and other brokerage or retirement accounts aren't priced by symbol. Add each one as an account and type its balance, the way it reads on your statement, and update it when you like.

How current it is

Prices are refreshed hourly from public market data and may be delayed or wrong. The account page shows when each price is from, and a warning appears beside one that's older than expected. That suits a balance sheet, which is about where you stand, not today's tick.

No brokerage login

Accounted never asks for your brokerage password. It sends only the symbols you hold to look up prices, never how many shares you own or what they're worth.

Alongside foreign holdings

If you also own stocks abroad, they sit in the same list. Each account keeps its own currency, and the total converts to US dollars or any currency you choose.

Questions

Can I track my stock portfolio without linking my brokerage?

Yes. Search for each stock or ETF by ticker and enter your share count. Accounted prices it and adds it to your net worth, and never asks for a brokerage login.

Which US holdings does Accounted price automatically?

Stocks and ETFs on US exchanges such as Nasdaq, NYSE, NYSE Arca and Cboe. Mutual funds and retirement accounts such as a 401(k) or IRA are added with a balance you type and update yourself.

Are the stock prices real-time?

No. They're refreshed hourly from public market data and may be delayed or wrong. Accounted is for knowing where you stand, not for trading.

Does it show my cost basis, gains or dividends?

No. Accounted records what each holding is worth now, not what you paid, and it doesn't track dividends or tax lots.
